So I'm very involved with releasing Pathfinder Second Edition products for Fantasy Grounds.
This week, two new entries are hitting the virtual selves: Hands of the Devil and Ruins of the Radiant Siege.
Both are part of series that are called Adventure Paths. Radiant Siege is the culmination of a very interesting, though sometimes a bit controversial, collection called Agents of Edgewatch. That sequence of adventures began with Devil at the Dreaming Palace which saw the adventurers taking on a criminal association as they served as peacekeeping officials of the city of Absalom. I thought it was clever and well written but some found it hit too close to home as it involved interaction between law enforcement and citizens of the city (diabolic though they were). Personally, I thought it added more depth and purpose to the campaign, but some like to wrestle with moral dilemmas and there's certainly aspects in that series that's very medieval in tenor.
As for Hands of the Devil (seems to be a lot of devilry going on in Golarion, doesn't it?). This is the second in the Abomination Vaults adventure path and, like the first, is a challenging, fun romp in a good ol' fashioned dungeon delve. It has plenty of story to backdrop it, but for those who miss the classic Gygaxian style adventure modules, this might just scratch that 80s itch.
These were the 9th and 10th releases I have put out for Fantasy Grounds with plenty more to come in the next year alone. Definitely is keeping me busy! As if the 13 cats alone wasn't enough. ;)
